Julie Matheson

Holistic Therapist

I began my journey to become a Holistic Therapist in 2006 when I did my Reiki 1 training.  This inspired me to become a Complementary Therapist so that I could help others.  Since that time I have gone on to train as a Reiki Master Teacher, an Accredited Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) Practitioner, Shamanic Practitioner and Meditation Teacher.

I work intuitively to aid you on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.  I enjoy being able to use various techniques that work alongside conventional medicine, to tailor sessions which suit each client's needs.

In 2019 I became a Trustee of Heart of the Wild, a charity in the making, which consists of Shamanic Practitioners and Teachers who dream of opening a centre where Shamanic practices are accessible to all, for their well-being.

Originally from New Zealand, I grew up in a small rural community and had a variety of jobs after leaving school.  It was while travelling the world that I met my Scottish husband and settled in the Highlands.
